  Short description: Review taxation system (commodity specific, types, procedural requirement and ease) and its implications to Native industries and Dairy Livestock farmers, review the present situation of import and export problems (SPS and TBT obligations), study the price competitiveness of native dairy products with respect to import custom and native taxation, evaluate investment climate for establishing such industries in Nepal (as mentioned in clause 9) under recommended taxation regime.

• 10. Study on the production cost, gaps and challenges on marketing of milk and goat meat in Bagmati Province

  Short description: To study and assess inputs in milk production (feeding, breeding, animal health etc), to assess the fixed cost and variable costs of a dairy farm at different production levels and different production systems, to estimate per unit milk production cost of different types of farms and recommend appropriate selling price, to estimate the cost of production of goat meat in the Bagamati province

  Short description: Assessment of vulnerability, exposure, and risk of multi-hazards within the study area, preparation of time series of various hazard events within the study area, identification and characterization of the areas based on the prevalence and vulnerability to different hazard types, geological, biophysical & socio-economic analysis of study area, identify issues/problems and recommendations for possible solutions.

  Short description: Assess the impacts of plastic based solid wastes on environment and human health, review existing reports, plans/programs of federal/provincial/local governments of Provicne 3 aimed for plastic and disaster risk reduction (DRR) management, organize training seminars to school level teachers of province 3 and let them know about emerging issues of DRR management and need of new chapters to be added to curriculum, suggest to the provincial government about the future plans and programs to be conducted for plastic management, and issues to be incorporated in school level curriculum on DRR management.
